For the NY crowd

Today, no French word, but a couple of pointers to some French events in New York - sorry for the others :-)

• Les poupées russes (Russian dolls), Klapisch's follow-up to L'auberge espagnole, is finally out, in a limited release, and playing at the IFC Center
• Phoenix, a band that was featuerd on the soundtrack for Lost in Translation, is playing at the Bowery Ballroom tonight. If you like Air and other "French touch" bands, this is their last tour date in the US, in promotion of their new album It's never been like that
